Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care Services

Location: Elko, NV

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with possibility of weekend hours.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Acute Care Services team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to our pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient population, working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient assessment and ongoing monitoring.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals in developing and implementing patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about disease management, treatment options, and care plans.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using MEDHOST EHR system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Valid RN license in the state of practice.
• ACLS and PALS certifications (to be completed within 60 and 90 days of start date, respectively).
• Minimum of 1-year nursing experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry.
