Electrical Assembler

Job Description:Maximise your chances of a successful application to this job by ensuring your CV and skills are a good match.The Assembler is responsible for assembling cable and wire harness systems by cutting, stripping, routing, and terminating wires according to technical drawings and work instructions. Uses hand tools, crimping equipment, soldering, and semi-automated machines to build electrical assemblies. Performs quality inspections throughout production, including measurement and testing, to ensure product accuracy and reliability. Supports overall manufacturing operations by maintaining precision, following procedures, and completing additional tasks as assigned.Key Responsibilities:Perform cable cutting, as requiredAbility to use crimping and wire striping toolsPerform wire jacket stripping and inner jacket stripping of wire harnessesComplete complex cable and harness systems per work instructions and drawingsUtilizing a wire layout board route wire and components to create a harness assemblyWrap and tie wires at designated points to form harnessAssemble electrical components, systems and/or subsystemsAbility to use semi-automatic machines and hand toolsPerform visual and dimensional inspections of first article, in-process assemblies and finished products using measuring tools (tape measure / micrometer / pull test machine)Solder parts or connections between partsPerform other tasks as assigned by ManagerAn individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed above.
