Your future role at a glance Location: Central Indiana Facility: Ascension St. Vincent Department: Adult Med Surg and Progressive Care Units Schedule: Days or Nights | PRN #NextGenHealthcare How you'll make an impact in this role Acquires hands-on clinical competency by delivering direct bedside care while concurrently enrolled in an accredited nursing program. Engages in direct bedside patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to bridge the gap between academic theory and clinical practice. Collaborates closely with a dedicated Preceptor to deliver safe, high-quality patient care while gaining knowledge of clinical workflows. What minimum requirements you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration Required Credential(s): One or more of the following: Instructor specializing in Basic Life Support obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Preferred Credential(s): Nurse Aide. Education High school diploma/GED required. Must be accepted or enrolled into a Nursing program upon date of hire/transfer and begin classes within 90 days of date of hire/transfer. Work Experience None required.
