Registered Nurse - MedSurg / Telemetry

The Registered Nurse in the MedSurg / Telemetry unit is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an acute care setting. This role requires a strong foundation in telemetry practices and the ability to manage a variety of patient needs effectively.

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the MedSurg and Telemetry units.

Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, providing critical assessment and intervention as necessary.

Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.

Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and patients regarding care plans and patient condition.

Document all patient care activities accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.

Participate in patient and family education regarding health management and discharge planning.

Floating to other locations may be required as needed.

Current RN license in New Hampshire or compact state license.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in MedSurg or Telemetry.

Documented experience in charge or management roles is highly desirable.

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required.

Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred, but not required.

Familiarity with cardiac medications, such as Cardizem and insulin drips is essential.
