Healthcare Assistant

Emerald Coast Urgent Care in Miramar Beach, FL is seeking a full‑time Healthcare Assistant to join our patient‑first team and work a rotating 3–4 day schedule. THE BASICS

Pay : $15–$18 an hour Schedule : Shifts vary but always fall within business hours October–February: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM March–September: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM Rotating Schedule: 3- and 4-day work weeks Includes every other weekend The schedule is set far in advance, making it easy to plan life around work. Weekend shifts follow the same posted business hours. YOUR DAY AS A HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT

You begin each shift welcoming patients, putting them at ease as you collect vitals, medical histories, medications, and understand their chief concern; throughout the day, you'll run rapid tests (COVID, Flu, Strep, Mono, Urinalysis, pregnancy), prepare for and assist with procedures like laceration repairs, abscess drainages, and IV hydration, and you'll keep the clinic humming by answering phones and coordinating details with patients and other medical offices-your calm presence, accuracy, and friendly professionalism ensure every patient receives timely, compassionate care.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A HEALTHCARE ASSISTANT
