The Senior Clinical Operations Professional provides data-based strategic direction to identify and address the Primary Care Organization's total cost of care opportunities. Provides business intelligence and strategic planning support for Specialty-related initiatives or the company at large. The Senior Clinical Operations Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable economic, clinical, and operational factors. This role will report to the Associate Director, Clinical Operations Strategy.

The Senior Professional, Specialty Care Strategy will play a key role in supporting the development, execution, and performance of specialty care initiatives across the organization. This individual will contribute to the advancement of the specialty care model by leveraging data analytics, financial acumen, and strategic insights to drive value-based specialty care programs, specialty provider network development, and financial performance. The Senior Analyst will work closely with market leadership, executive stakeholders, and cross-functional clinical and operational teams to enable scalable, data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the design, implementation, and evaluation of specialty care strategies that align with the organization's value-based care objectives.

• Develop financial models and analyses to assess the performance of specialty care programs, including network performance, cost of care trends, and ROI.

• Partner with market leadership to support contracting strategies, including provider network design and value-based payment arrangements.

• Analyze utilization, quality, and financial data to identify performance improvement opportunities for specialty provider partners.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable business strategies. - Create executive-level presentations and reports to communicate findings, recommendations, and program performance.

• Monitor regulatory and industry trends in specialty care and value-based care to inform strategic decision-making. Assist in the development of performance dashboards, scorecards, and other tools to monitor provider performance and program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Administration, Public Health, Finance, or a related field

• A minimum six years of experience in healthcare analytics, strategy, or financial analysis

• Experience in value-based care or specialty care

• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, financial modeling, and performance measurement.

• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI).

• Ability to convey complex information to executive audiences.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

• Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement models, provider network management, and value-based care principles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree

• Experience in specialty care service lines specific to cardiology, nephrology, orthopedics, and oncology

• Familiarity with risk adjustment methodologies and population health analytics.

• Experience supporting provider contracting and negotiations.

• 100% remote role

• Standard working hours required; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Central or Eastern Time Zones

• Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

• Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$86,300 - $118,700 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
