Registered Nurse - Infusion Clinic

Job Description Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City is hiring for an Oncology Clinic Nurse for their Oncology Clinic and Infusion room. This position is part of a rapidly growing program and will assist with care coordination, research studies, patient and family education, scheduling, triage, assistance with procedures, and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary innovative care team committed to innovation and improving patient outcomes. This high volume fast‑paced Magnet designated clinic is INCP and QOPI certified. Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Job Type: Part‑time day. ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate – Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation. Registered Nurse with an Associate Degree. Responsibilities Phone triage. Schedules emergent‑need appointments. Patient follow‑up calls. Patient education on particular procedures and processes. Subject matter expert in respective specialty for hospital RNs in the units. Regularly meet with other disciplines to share best practices on care treatments. Care for patients with a long‑term treatment process.
