Registered Nurse - Flex/After-Hours Hospice

Schedule: Every other weekend 8:00am-9:00pm, 4 other shifts 9:00am-10:00pm - to be scheduled with manager Incentive: $4.00 per hour on-call shift differential pay for shifts after 5:00pm weeknights and all day for weekend shifts, in addition to base pay Location: Fayette and Jessamine Counties Position Summary: TheFlex/After-HoursHospice RNdeliverscompassionate, patient-centeredcare forindividuals receivingcomprehensive health careservicesin a variety of home care settings,including private residences, skilled nursing facilities,personal care homes, or wherever the patient calls home.This hybrid role supports continuity of care outside of regular business hoursand provides flexibledayshiftcoveragebased on the evolving needs of the hospice team.These needs may includeresponding to urgent patient needs, managing symptoms, supporting new admissions, andassistingwith ongoing case management.A Registered Nurse in this position will havestrong communicationskills, the competence to work autonomously, professionalismto work within an interdisciplinary team, and the ability to provide care with empathy. Position Qualifications: Graduateof an accredited school of registered nursing. Currently licensed as a Registered NursethroughtheKentucky Board of Nursingor through a participating CompactStateBoard of Nursing. Minimum of one (1) year of general nursing experience preferred; new graduate nurses will be considered. Demonstrates strong clinical nursing skills and the ability tomaintainprofessionalism during emotionally challenging situations. Provides compassionate, patient-centered care while serving diverse populations with respect and cultural sensitivity. Adheres to accepted professional, ethical, and legal standards of nursing practice. Demonstrates understanding of and commitment to hospice philosophy and the principles of death and dying. Maintains current CPR certification. Must be a licensed driver with an automobile in good working order, that isinsuredin accordance withstateminimumrequirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr
