Prep Cook / Dishwasher

Reports to: Sous Chef / Kitchen Manager Status: Full-Time or Part-Time, Non-Exempt

Overview

This role supports kitchen operations through consistent prep work and dish/sanitation support, keeping the

kitchen running smoothly during and between services.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients per recipe specs ahead of service (chopping, portioning, sauces, etc.)

• Maintain proper labeling, dating, and storage of all prepped items

• Operate dish machine and maintain sanitation standards for wares and kitchen equipment

• Support receiving and stocking of deliveries

• Maintain a clean, organized back-of-house work area throughout shift

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience preferred but not required — training provided

• Food Protection Certificate required (or obtained within 30 days of hire)

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently under time pressure

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for full shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and work around hot equipment and wet floors.

Schedule Expectations

Full-time or part-time; evenings and some weekends required
