Abbott seeks a Field Service Engineer II to install, maintain, and troubleshoot diagnostic instruments in Colorado Springs. Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair diagnostic instruments to ensure optimal performance and compliance
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues on complex instruments and close service calls within timelines
• Manage customer issues from identification through resolution or escalation
• Plan and prioritize service visits, maintain inventory, and support on-call coverage
• Partner with cross-functional teams and mentor field service representatives to strengthen capability

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
• 2–5 years experience in engineering or laboratory technology
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel 40% within territory
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with laboratory instrumentation
• Proficiency in computer applications and remote computing tools
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation: $26.50–$53.00/hour
