About the Role

As an Access Specialist, you will be responsible for managing patient intake, scheduling, and providing exceptional customer service. You will be part of a healthcare system that includes a Critical Access Hospital with advanced trauma and cardiac care designations, multiple rural clinics, and a seven-day urgent care facility.

Education

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Additional certifications in healthcare administration or patient access services are a plus.

Experience

Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in patient registration or front desk roles, is preferred. Familiarity with electronic health records and scheduling software will be beneficial.
