Marshall University Research Corporation (MURC) employees have different benefit options than those listed below. Work week is 37.5 hrs. A great highlight in December is that Marshall University employees receive almost two weeks off for Winter Break! Qualified candidates will possess the following: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, event planning, or a related field At least one year of experience planning events, programs, campus activities, orientation programming, hospitality, customer service operations, or a related field Excellent communication skills strong organizational, project management, and time-management abilities Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing needs in a fast-paced environment Exceptional customer service, teamwork, and collaboration skills, and the ability to represent the university in a professional and positive manner Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including demonstrated proficiency in Excel Must be available to work some evenings and weekend Salary Range | $38,722-$50,339 - Salary is commensurate with education, experience, and internal equity Salary Type | Salary Time Type | Full-Time Work Location | MU - Marshall University Qualifications Must be able to perform all essential job duties as outlined in the job description.
