Job Description
The Tire Service Technician plays a key role in maintaining vehicle safety and performance by performing routine tire services as part of a collaborative team. This position involves hands-on tasks including tire installation, repair, and wheel alignment to ensure optimal vehicle functionality. The role offers minimal travel and opportunities for lateral career growth or advancement into supervisory positions within the automotive service field.
Responsibilities
- Install and repair tires accurately and efficiently
- Balance wheels to manufacturer specifications
- Perform wheel alignment to ensure vehicle safety and performance
- Inspect vehicles for tire and wheel issues
- Maintain service equipment in proper working order
- Work collaboratively within a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in automotive service
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Proficient in tire installation, repair, and wheel alignment
- Experienced in wheel balancing and vehicle inspection
- Physical stamina suitable for manual labor
