CNC Machinist (Level I – III)
Location: Cypress, CA
Shift: 1st and 2nd Shift Openings Available
Monday – Friday (6:00am-2:30pm) or (2:00pm-10:30pm)
Pay Range: $20.00 – $32.00/per hour DOE + shift differential
**Also open to entry-level and highly experienced machinists (adjusted pay based on experience)**
Position Overview
As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC lathes and/or CNC Mills to produce high-precision aerospace & automotive components , ensuring quality, maintaining equipment, and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and/or mills
- Perform in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Prepare and adjust tooling as needed
- Troubleshoot machining and basic programming issues
- Maintain documentation for tooling, inspections, and machine performance
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Support continuous improvement and production efficiency efforts
What We’re Looking For
Preferred:
- CNC machining experience
- Ability to read blueprints, and G-Code knowledge
- Experience with setups and troubleshooting
- Ability to hold tight tolerances in a production environment
Also Open To:
- Level I (Entry-Level): 1+ year of experience or technical training; strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Level II (Mid-Level): 3+ years of CNC experience, strong blueprint reading, setups and troubleshooting, and G-Code knowledge.
- Level III (Advanced): 5+ years of experience with advanced setups, programming adjustments, and mentoring capabilities
Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (technical training is a plus)
- Experience with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
- Familiarity with CNC controls
- Knowledge of G-Code and/or MasterCAM is a plus
- Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety
- Team-oriented with a proactive mindset
