Senior Property Accountant, Hybrid Schedule! Real Estate (Commercial)

Are you looking for a new position to grow your accounting skills? Are you looking for a company that promotes from within? This group is located in Columbus, Ohio has grown to nine offices nationwide, and specializes in commercial property management and construction. This Senior Property Accountant will assist with approximately 20 properties overseeing various accounting tasks and analysis.

After six months of employment employees have the option of a hybrid schedule, two days at home a week!

Duties Include:

• Monitoring cash balances
• Creating monthly and quarterly financial statements according to GAAP
• Collaborating with Property Managers on variance reporting
• Reviewing balance sheets and income statements to verify account balances
• Distributing financials
• Assisting in recoverable charges reconciliation
• Reviewing lease entries
• Overseeing fixed assets
• Reviewing income statements
• Preparing documents for annual audits

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field

Working knowledge of GAPP and financial reporting

Yardi Voyager experience is a plus
