Bindery Operator

Job Description

1st Shift 8am-430pm

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, binders, collators, laminators, etc.)
Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and consistency against job specifications
Load and unload materials from machines safely and efficiently
Perform routine machine adjustments, minor troubleshooting, and basic maintenance
Package, label, and stage finished goods for shipment or distribution
Maintain accurate production counts and completed job documentation
Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and lockout/tagout procedures where applicable
Keep work area clean, organized, and free of debris (5S standards)
Communicate equipment issues, material shortages, or quality concerns to the supervisor promptly
Meet or exceed established production and quality standards
