Plant Manager

A leading organization in the Advanced Electronics Industry is seeking a Plant Manager based in the greater Huntsville, AL area. This role will have full site PÂ¨L responsibility and provide strategic and operational leadership for a high-volume production environment. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a proven track record of driving safety, operational excellence, employee engagement, and business performance within complex, highly automated manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Lead all plant operations with full accountability for safety, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, and financial performance. Drive operational excellence through KPI management, continuous improvement initiatives, Lean Manufacturing principles, and data-driven decision making. Develop and mentor a large cross-functional leadership team across operations, engineering, quality, maintenance, and environmental health & safety. Partner with executive leadership and technical teams to optimize highly automated manufacturing systems and support business growth objectives. Ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of a 24/7 manufacturing facility while maintaining employee engagement and operational continuity during peak production periods. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline. 15+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, including leadership of large-scale facilities with 500+ employees. Proven experience with full PÂ¨L responsibility, financial management, budgeting, and operational performance improvement. Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence executive stakeholders while maintaining a visible presence on the manufacturing floor. Demonstrated success driving operational excellence, employee engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives. Experience in highly automated manufacturing environments such as electronics, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, photovoltaics, industrial technology, or other high-volume production operations.
