Physical Therapist - ESY

Job Description: Physical Therapist for K-12 school-based services (June 29–July 24, program closed July 3). Hours: 8:30 am–1:30 pm. Providers will work one on one with students, as well as other staff members and disciplines to provide customized programs and intervention to meet each student’s goals and needs. The ideal candidate will utilize a holistic approach and adapt the environment to the client to best ensure progress. K – 12 caseload Address client’s progress and engagement in occupations that affect client’s health, well-being and living quality Determine and implement the client’s treatment methodology, as well as guidance in interventions Perform therapeutic services to clients with autism spectrum disorder and sensory needs. Planning, engagement, and implementation of IFSPs or IEPs Educate clients on better practices of approaching tasks and provide mentorship on how to work towards small goals. Provide proper care and instruction to family members and caregivers Oversight, data collection and correction on client progress towards long- and short-term treatment markers Position Requirements: Active Physical Therapy License MS degree or greater in Physical Therapy 2 years working experience as a Physical Therapist 1 year of school-based or clinical experience; children ages 3-18 Experience in IEP services and assessments preferred Experience working with children with autism and their families Excellent organizational skills and great attention to details Candidates must be energetic, animated, and outgoing, with a passion for helping children achieve their true potential Pediatric Experience Strong Clinical & Interpersonal Skills Oxford Consulting Services, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
