Responsive Recruiter We are looking for multiple people to help cover various shifts, including days, evenings, and overnights. We need consistency throughout, rotating the same persons for care. Clients generally need transfer assistance, housework, and some errands. Good organizational skills and attention to detail is a MUST. A successful Qualicare KC Care Assistant will be an experienced person in life as a caregiver either professionally or personally to family and who is capable of working independently, while maintaining a calm and focused demeanor, with hopefully some room for laughs. Responsibilities include being caring and compassionate toward clients and their caretakers, showing up on time, assistance with personal care and hygiene, meal preparation, light housekeeping, accompanying clients on outings, shopping and errands, medication assist/reminders, ambulation and transporting of clients, providing companionship to clients, ability to follow care-plan, and documentation/charting. Requirements include experience in life with caregiving or professionally, must be 18 years or older, must hold a valid driver's license, and demonstrate good judgment when dealing with patients, visitors, families, and co-workers. Compensation: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour.
