The Role TheSecurityTechnicianinstallsandservicessecuritysystemsat customer job sites,activates systems for monitoring,and ensures client satisfaction fromfirst install through ongoing support. This role requires theability to troubleshootallaspects ofsecurityand surveillance systemsand torepresentBravasprofessionally in high-profile, high-demand client homes. Responsibilities Processes incomingservice requestsanddeterminesurgency. Customizes systems for connectivityand follows city/state requirements foralarmsandsecurityplans. Remotelyaccesses customer systemsand repairs network-based solutions. Sets up remote monitoring systemsand enrolls customers inservice or monitoring plans. Works with theService Managerand others to trackandeliminaterecurring issues. Coordinates with manufacturerTech Supportandadvanced replacementsas needed. Supports smallprojects involving upselland replacement sales. Determinesand collects billable laborand materialsasapplicable. Coordinates with buyers to ensureaccurateprocurement of required parts. Setsaccuratetime clock entriesand job costing. Sets accuratecompletion deadlinesand expectations for clients. Sets up, configures,programs,andtroubleshootsnetworks, control systems, cameras,and NVRs. Reviews, reacts to,and updates daily work orders in job management software. Maintainsaccuratetime clock entriesand job costing. Provides client trainingand deliversahigh standard of customerservice. Participates in the on-call rotation,asrequired. Travelslocally to job sitesasrequired. Maintainsfiscal responsibility forallassetsassignedandproperty within theTechnician’s care. Performs other dutiesasassigned. Qualifications High school diplomaor equivalent. Valid driver’s license, clean driving record,andability to passacriminal background check. Securitylicenseor relevant experience preferred. Excellent communication skillsand theability to work effectively inateam environment. Basic computer skills with theability to become competent in in-housejob management software. Strong troubleshooting skillsacrosssecurityand surveillance systems. Customerservice skills, including theability to work with high-profileand high-demand customers. Guardianshipand preservation of client confidentialityand network/homesecurity. Adherence tostateand federal laws, including traffic laws. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, or bending may berequired. Must beable to liftand carry up to 60 pounds. Ability to work in tight spacesandat ladderheight. Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to hotand cold temperatures.
