Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful impact working directly with students in a vibrant TK-12 district serving 3,650 learners. This contract opportunity is exclusively onsite and welcomes travel professionals eager to support students in person during the 2026-2027 academic year. Based near Tehachapi, you’ll have the chance to work across two dynamic campuses—an elementary school (TK–5) and a high school early college program (9–12)—addressing a variety of speech and language needs.

Ideal candidates possess the following:

• Valid SLP licensure for California and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Experience working in school environments, supporting general education and moderate-to-severe needs
• Ability to manage a caseload of up to 60 students across grade levels
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, students, and families
• Commitment to providing high-quality onsite services

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing assessment, diagnosis, and direct intervention for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
• Developing and implementing therapy plans tailored to individual IEP goals
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in alignment with school and district guidelines
• Offering guidance, resources, and strategies to educators and caregivers

This assignment is onsite only and offers a full-time, 37.5-hour workweek schedule from August 10, 2026, to June 4, 2027. The caseload includes a diverse range of needs, from general education to moderate and severe disabilities, ensuring each day brings new challenges and rewards.
