Automotive Service Advisor / Damage Estimator

We are a high volume, productive collision repair facility in the Hartford area. For nearly 40 years, we have made it a top priority to service our vehicles with quality workmanship and ensure that each customer has the smoothest experience possible. With numerous OEM certifications, our shop houses the tools and equipment for repairs to any vehicle that comes through our doors.

We’re looking for a motivated individual who has a strong work ethic and an engaging personality to join our administrative staff. You must be a leader, have experience providing customer service, and have the ability to work with insurance companies on a daily basis.

Job Responsibilities

· Prepare estimates for customers and insurance companies

· Coordinate vehicle repair progress while the vehicle is in our possession

· Provide communication to customers on the status of repairs to their vehicle

· Build trust with customers to ensure they understand the quality of repair we will provide

· Manage customer insurance claims from beginning to end

· Negotiate repair labor rates and repair procedures needed with insurance companies

Job Requirements

· Demonstrates customer service skills

· Ability to work well with others in a team environment

· Strong communication skills with customers and staff

· Must be detail oriented

· Must maintain a professional appearance

· Keeps a clean and organized work area
