If this sounds like you, we encourage you to apply!The practice of mammography is performed by a segment of health care professionals responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. Independently performs screening and diagnostic mammography exams based on institutional policies and/or practice standards and/or follows the directive of the interpreting physician to assist in the completion of the mammography exam.What You’ll Do:Performs mammography procedures based on the American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) Mammography Practice Standards and the ASRT Code of EthicsUnderstands and adheres to departmental exam protocolsActively participates in quality control and quality assurance activities using the APIE model.Performs screening and diagnostic mammography exams based on institutional policies and/or practice standards and/or follows the directive of the interpreting physician to assist in the completion of the mammography examPerforms screening and diagnostic mammography exams based on institutional policies and/or practice standards and/or follows the directive of the interpreting physician to assist in the completion of the mammography examAssists the interpreting physician as directed when involved with diagnostic procedures in breast imagingWho You Are:Successful completion of an accredited Radiological Technologist program, Required3-5 years of experience as a radiologic technologist, PreferredBoard of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Required.Certified by ARRT in Mammography, RequiredAbility to obtain BLS during employmentWhy You’ll Love Us:Health, dental, prescription, and vision coverage for full-time & part-time employeesShort term, long term disability, Accident insurance, & life insuranceTuition ReimbursementReferral bonusesAccrued earned time for full-time & part-time employees403b Retirement plans, with generous employer contributionsAnd more!
