Our focus is on maintaining lasting relationships with our guests and our community, ensuring that every interaction is warm, and welcoming.Job Overview:The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and presentation of guest rooms and assigned hotel areas in accordance with Monarch Casino Resort Spa standards. This role plays a key part in creating a welcoming, luxury resort experience by ensuring each room is clean, organized, well-stocked, and ready for guest arrival.The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent service in a fast-paced hospitality environment.Responsibilities:Clean and service assigned guest rooms, suites, bathrooms, and related areas according to resort standards.Make beds, change linens, replace towels, and replenish guest room amenities and supplies.Dust, vacuum, mop, polish, and sanitize surfaces, fixtures, furniture, and bathroom areas.Remove trash, soiled linens, and used guest supplies from rooms and service areas.Inspect rooms for cleanliness, maintenance issues, damages, or missing items and report concerns promptly.Maintain cleanliness and organization of housekeeping carts, linen closets, storage areas, and assigned work areas.Follow proper procedures for handling guest property, lost and found items, cleaning chemicals, and equipment.Respond professionally and courteously to guest requests and team member needs.Support room readiness by working efficiently while maintaining quality and attention to detail.Follow all safety, sanitation, security, and company policies and procedures.Communicate with housekeeping leadership, inspectors, front desk, and maintenance teams as needed.Assist with additional housekeeping duties, deep cleaning projects, or public area support as assigned.Qualifications:Previous hotel housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.Ability to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused resort environment.Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Professional, courteous, and service-oriented attitude.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Must be able to maintain confidentiality and respect guest privacy.Flexible availability required, including weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.Ability to obtain and maintain required work authorization and any company-required credentials.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, push, pull, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull housekeeping supplies, linen bags, trash, and cleaning equipment.Ability to use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and according to company standards.Must be able to work in guest rooms, hallways, service areas, and other assigned resort spaces.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Benefits:Enhanced health, dental, and vision insurance, along with a flexible spending account.Education, tuition, and certification reimbursement (up to $6,000 per calendar year).Growth opportunities available within department/company.Access the team dining hall with one free hot meal per shift.Company-matched 401k.Paid time off and six observed holidaysTeam Member Hotel, Retail, and Spa DiscountsTeam Member Anniversary Recognition (earn resort credit, vacation trips and more!)Save your gas and mileage on your car!
