Travel Nutrition Specialist

Travel Nutrition Specialist in an outpatient setting for a 13-week assignment in or near Sandusky, Ohio. This role offers competitive weekly pay, no weekend work, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient nutrition and care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nutritional assessments and develop personalized care plans for patients based on medical and food habits.
• Collaborate with medical staff to review and modify diets according to patient needs and medical orders.
• Educate patients and their families on dietary management during hospital stays and outpatient care.
• Document all nutritional evaluations and interventions accurately in patients' medical records.
• Supervise foodservice staff to ensure proper implementation of prescribed diets and protocols.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Dietetics or Nutrition
• Registered Dietitian license in Ohio
• Valid Ohio motor vehicle operator's license
• Minimum 2 years inpatient clinical dietitian experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and familiarity with healthcare documentation and nutrition assessment processes
