Summary Position is located at Destin Army Recreation Area, part of Fort Benning Family & Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR). Incentives and Bonuses None. Responsibilities Makes reservations for incoming guests based on room availability, interviews guests to determine room assignment, and assists clientele in completing required forms and registration cards. Answers questions regarding rules and regulations governing assignment and use of quarters, issues room keys, provides statement of non‑availability when applicable, and posts registration information on the registration card. Orients guests regarding use of facilities and equipment, answers billing questions and concerns, and assists or arranges transportation. Computes charges for guests checking out, receives payments and room keys, renders receipts, and at the end of the shift accounts for and secures cash. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Direct deposit and a Social Security Card are required. Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position. A one‑year probationary period may be required. Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E‑Verify) check. Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service. Position, duty hours, location and/or activity may change based on mission requirements. Work hours may involve weekends, weekdays, holidays and night duty. Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre‑employment checks, including Tier1 background investigation. Employee may be required to stand for extended periods of time. Qualifications Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide at the level necessary to complete required reports and to use a computer for work processing or data entry. Good verbal communication and customer service skills. One‑year hotel front desk experience (preferred).
