Description
  • Assess individuals of all ages with a comprehensive approach that includes standardized assessments and keen observational methods.
  • Craft tailored treatment plans that align with both immediate and long-term communication and swallowing goals.
  • Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions that encompass language, fluency, voice, and swallowing interventions.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team - including physical and occupational therapists, physicians, and families - to ensure integrated care solutions.
  • Educate patients and their families, providing vital support to continue progress beyond therapy sessions.
  • Engage in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless patient experiences from admission to discharge.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation, adhering to all regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Commit to continuous professional development by engaging with industry advancements and peer networks.
Education
  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), with ASHA certification pending.
Certifications
  • Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

  • Strong understanding and application of evidence-based treatment strategies for diverse age groups, alongside knowledge of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills for engaging effectively with clients, families, and clinical colleagues.
