Associate Attorney

Join our dynamic legal team as an Associate Attorney and play a vital role in providing comprehensive legal support across diverse practice areas. Duties
- Conduct thorough legal research using LexisNexis to support case preparation and strategy development
- Draft and review litigation related documents
- Assist in negotiating settlements and contractual agreements to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
- Manage litigation cases from inception through resolution by coordinating discovery, depositions, and court filings
- Provide counsel on various legal issues
- Support attorneys in court appearances, hearings, and client meetings by preparing necessary documentation and briefs
- Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with all legal administrative procedures
Experience
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in Tennessee
- Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis and other platforms to gather pertinent legal information efficiently
- Excellent writing skills demonstrated through clear legal drafting of memos, briefs, and contracts
- Familiarity with litigation processes and legal administrative experience is highly desirable
- Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining professionalism and client advocacy skills
- Federal court experience preferred but not a requirement
- Prior experience in litigation is preferred but not required
