Security Officer - Acute Care

Description Armed Security Officer positions and unarmed positions. Full time, Part time and Per diem. Shift will require every other weekend and every other holiday. The candidate must document and follow through with detailed and concise reports involving potential fraud, waste or abuse of corporate resources, imminent threat to life, safety, procedural or other condition requiring investigation. Knowledge and understanding of the use of force continuum and its application within a private security setting. Knowledge and understanding of accepted current interview techniques, proven investigative report preparation skills with attention to detail with thorough and concise documentation. Ability to follow through on investigative leads. Pick up hours as the need arises, at our Acute care facilities, other than primary work location. What You Will Need High School Diploma/GED required. Associates Degree preferred. NYS Driver’s License. Valid Armed or Unarmed Security Guard License issued by the State of New York. Active police officer certification; active police officers are required to obtain NYS Security Guard license within 90 days of hire. Pay Range Pay range: $20.20 - $35.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
