Job Title: Electrical Assembly Technician
Job Description
The Electrical Assembly Technician plays a key role in building highquality mechanical, electrical, and electronic assemblies in a fastpaced manufacturing environment. In this position, you follow detailed work instructions to assemble components and systems, use a variety of hand and power tools, and ensure all work meets strict quality and safety standards. You contribute directly to production output on a longterm, highvolume project while maintaining an organized, efficient work area.
Training can be provided for this role. Candidates with a background in general production, or any kind of manufacturing roles are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical, electrical, and electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems according to detailed work instructions and assembly documentation.
• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and basic assembly equipment to perform precise assembly work on small and detailed parts.
• Install components, wiring, fasteners, casings, and related hardware using bolts, rivets, soldering, and microwelding techniques as required.
• Perform electrical wiring, including wiring harness assembly and connection of electrical components, in accordance with specifications and safety standards.
• Clean parts and finished assemblies using approved cleaning methods and materials to ensure proper function and presentation.
• Inspect assemblies and completed work to verify quality, accuracy, and conformance to drawings, specifications, and test requirements.
• Use test equipment and basic electrical testing methods to confirm performance and identify any defects or rework needs.
• Maintain production equipment and tools in good working order and promptly report any issues that could impact safety or productivity.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to support efficient workflow and safe operations.
• Read, interpret, and follow work instructions, drawings, and assembly documentation with close attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate work, report issues, and support continuous improvement.
• Perform a range of physical activities, including standing and walking for extended periods and frequent use of hands for tasks requiring dexterity and grip.
• Frequently bend, kneel, and maintain balance, and occasionally climb or reposition yourself to access components and support production needs.
• Lift, carry, and move materials in a mediumwork environment, including up to 50 lbs occasionally, 30 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs consistently.
• Visually assess work, listen for cues, and communicate clearly to ensure safety, quality, and accuracy in a manufacturing setting.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience performing mechanical, electrical, or electronic assembly work in a manufacturing environment, preferred but not required.
• Ability to safely and effectively use hand tools, power tools, and basic assembly equipment.
• Good handeye coordination and manual dexterity for working with small and detailed parts.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow work instructions, drawings, and assembly documentation, training can be provided.
• Capability to perform mediumlevel physical work, including standing and walking for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, 30 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs consistently.
• Ability to frequently bend, kneel, maintain balance, and occasionally climb or reposition to support production needs.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to hear instructions and visually assess work to ensure quality, safety, and accuracy.
• Experience with electrical assembly, wiring, and mechanical assembly in a production or HVACrelated environment.
• Comfort working in a manufacturing setting that may not be climatecontrolled, with exposure to varying temperatures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• background in HVAC assembly or installation is beneficial.
• Experience with wiring harness assembly and electrical components.
• Familiarity with test equipment and basic electrical testing procedures.
• Exposure to painting or finishing processes in a manufacturing environment.
• General mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced, projectdriven environment with longterm production commitments.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Millington, MD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
