Allied Technician - Physical Therapist

Physical Therapist (PT)We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical expertise and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a rehabilitation environment.ResponsibilitiesProvide physical therapy evaluation and treatment for patients, including those recovering from surgery, injury, or illness.Create and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient mobility and quality of life.Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with facility guidelines.Educate patients and their families regarding treatment programs and strategies for ongoing care.ScheduleWorkdays: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.One Saturday per month from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a compensatory day off during the same week.Sunday work may be required for orthopedic post-operative care, primarily covered by other staff.Holiday RequirementTravelers will be expected to work 2 of the upcoming major holidays: Thanksgiving Day/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. If the contract overlaps with only 2 holidays, you will be expected to work 1 of those 2 holidays. Please limit holiday time-off requests to 1 holiday only.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of clinical experience required.Must hold a valid Physical Therapy license in Pennsylvania or have compact PT licensure.Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is required.Ability to care for COVID-19 patients as needed.This is a tobacco and fragrance-free environment.
