The position involves planning and administering physical therapy to clients with physical disability; administering direct treatment; educating patient, families, caregivers, and others involved; establishing home and school programs; evaluating patient progress and therapy plans and goals; evaluating and recommending needed equipment.

The eligible list established from this recruitment will be used to fill full-time regular, part-time, limited-term or extra-help positions as vacancies occur or the need arises.

Education and/or experience requirements include possession of a valid license as a Registered Physical Therapist issued by the California Board of Medical Quality Assurance.

Possession of or ability to obtain a valid Class C California driver's license may be required.

To be eligible for veteran's preference points, applicant must have served at least 181 consecutive days of active duty in the Armed Forces of the United States and have received either an honorable discharge or a general discharge under honorable conditions.
