Occupational Therapist - PRN

Overview TMC is a therapy provider that delivers physical, occupational, and speech therapy services to long‑term care facilities. We are expanding and seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our quality care rehab team. Department: Quality Care Rehab Location: Glenview at Pelican Bay Compensation: $50.00 – $55.00 per hour FL AHCA Information: Key Responsibilities Evaluation and Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess functional status, strengths, and limitations across physical, cognitive, sensory, and emotional domains. Identify areas of difficulty and establish personalized treatment goals. Treatment Planning and Implementation: Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and therapeutic goals. Guide patients through activities that enhance independence, productivity, and overall quality of life using evidence‑based interventions. Patient Education and Training: Educate patients, families, and caregivers about therapeutic processes, adaptive strategies, and techniques for functional improvement. Provide hands‑on training for activities of daily living, mobility skills, energy conservation, and assistive device use. Collaboration and Interdisciplinary Teamwork: Work closely with other healthcare professionals—COTAs, physical therapists, speech‑language pathologists, nurses, and physicians—to coordinate holistic care plans and ensure seamless transitions. Progress Monitoring and Outcome Measurement: Continuously assess patient progress, reassess goals, and modify treatment plans as needed. Use standardized assessment tools and functional measures to track improvements. Qualifications Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
