In this role, you will work with MDs, other PAs/NPs, and providing direction to various allied health staff. You will work five days a week alongside six physicians and one advanced practice provider, allowing you to work at the highest level of your education and expertise.Responsibilities: As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Mayo Clinic, you will perform a variety of tasks, including:Conducting comprehensive assessmentsOrdering, conducting, and interpreting diagnostic testsFormulating a diagnostic impressionDeveloping and implementing a treatment planMonitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventionsPrescribing pharmacological agents and treatmentsImplementing non-pharmacological therapiesOffering counseling and education to meet patient needsDuring the selection process you may participate in an OnDemand (pre-recorded) interview that you can complete at your convenience. During the OnDemand interview, a question will appear on your screen, and you will have time to consider each question before responding. You will have the opportunity to re-record your answer to each question – Mayo Clinic will only see the final recording. The complete interview will be reviewed by a Mayo Clinic staff member and you will be notified of next steps.Qualifications1-2 years of NP/PA Oncology experience required.Nurse Practitioner: Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program.
