Responsibilities:

Perform daily assigned inventory audits, across the warehouse and retail floor. Investigate and research inventory variances and discrepancies, and report findings to the leadership team. Maintain the integrity of the Inventory Locations System by ensuring proper labeling and organization of all physical storage spaces (bin locations) and conducting searches to locate misclassified inventory. Assist in determining root causes for inventory discrepancies and recommend corrective actions and process improvements to eliminate repetitive errors. Work with warehouse, freight, merchandisers, and Specialty Shop Manager purchasing, and operations teams to optimize the flow of product to maintain inventory integrity. Assist with routine preparation and completion of inventory processes. Maintain accurate documentation and reports of all inventory audit results and inventory metrics. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization Ability to perform basic math Demonstrates strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and problem solving skill Be professional in appearance and attitude, contribute to a positive team atmosphere, and treat others with respect and consideration while following Scheels' policies and procedures Strong initiative and vision for continuous improvement while contributing to a positive team atmosphere Ability to work assigned scheduled which may include varied hours, evening, weekends, and holidays Other duties that may be assigned by supervisor, as needed

Compensation: Compensation for this position starts at $19 per hour.

Education & Experience: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a high school diploma, or general education degree (GED); 1-3 months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of both.

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements: Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation. Heavy work – Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
