As our Senior Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a lead role in supporting production activities at the new site and help ensure a seamless transition from new product introduction to high-volume manufacturing for our Universal Robots product line.Lead the transition of products from New Product status to high-volume manufacturing in collaboration with New Product teams.Develop robust, repeatable, and reproducible process parameters and process controls.Collaborate with engineering, quality, and cross-functional teams to identify, resolve, and prevent production and assembly issues.Build and evaluate electro-mechanical assemblies to develop assembly process flows and identify potential assembly risks.Support the design, qualification, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment, assembly tools, fixtures, procedures, and packaging solutions.Partner with Quality teams to review yield reports, drive RCCA activities, and close corrective actions.Mentor and train personnel on proper product assembly methods and manufacturing best practices.Sustain alignment and share best practices across sites in Denmark and China.All About YouWe seek individuals who share our passion and determination. If you’re ready to join us in this mission, take a closer look at the minimum criteria for the position.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience.10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment producing complex machinery, preferably robotics.Experience supporting manufacturing and test processes for electro-mechanical assemblies.Knowledge of DFM, DFT, LEAN, Six Sigma, RCCA, and failure analysis.Experience developing assembly process flows from solid models, bills of material, and other design information.Experience creating and maintaining detailed product assembly instructions, process documentation, and digitized assembly and test processes.Ability to troubleshoot mechanical assemblies, process-related issues, and equipment maintenance needs.Experience developing mechanical tools and fixtures used in the assembly of mechanical and electro-mechanical products.Strong mechanical aptitude with an eagerness to understand how products are assembled and a willingness to offer ideas for improving manufacturing processes and product design.Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, quality, supplier, and global manufacturing teams.We are only considering candidates local to the position location and are unable to provide relocation for this position.This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.Benefits: Teradyne offers a variety of robust health and well-being benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Accounts, retirement savings plans, life and disability insurance, paid vacation & holidays, tuition assistance programs, and more.  Please click here to see details. Compensation:The base salary range for this role is $123,200- 176,400. This range is a good faith estimate, and the amount of base salary will correspond with experience and skill set. This range can also fluctuate depending on demand and location.
