Job Opportunity Position: Cath Lab RN Location: San Jose, CA Shift Details: Schedule: Day 4x10-Hour (06:30 - 17:00) Shifts will be any day Monday to Friday with weekend call requirements: 7 days per month, including 1 weekend per month (Friday - Sunday PM) and 1 additional day per week. Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab RN to join our dynamic team. Candidates must possess strong sedation skills and have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac or Interventional Radiology lab within a 250-bed facility. We welcome both Cath Lab RNs and IR RNs. Please indicate your specialty when applying. Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a lab setting (IR RN or Cath Lab RN).
- Certification in ACLS, BLS, CCI RCES or RCIS, and NIHSS.
- Epic charting experience; required for IR RNs and highly preferred for Cath Lab RNs.
- Experience in procedural sedation management.
- Local candidates within 50 miles will be given priority.
- End-Tidal CO2 monitoring
- Angioplasty and stenting procedures
- Cardiac catheterization
- IV insertion and management
- Central line and PICC placement
- Monitoring procedural sedation
- Knowledge of radiological safety procedures
- Ability to assist in various interventional procedures
