Class B Truck Driver – Local Delivery | New Bedford, MA

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking truck driver to join our team in New Bedford, MA. This local delivery role is ideal for a truck driver who enjoys consistent routes, physical work, and being home daily. As a truck driver , you will be responsible for delivering food products to restaurants and retail locations while providing excellent customer service.

Truck Driver Schedule

Monday – Friday: 4:00 AM start time until route completion (typically 10–13 hours)
Occasional extended hours based on route needs
Truck driver can expect to average 50–55 hours per week

Truck Driver Compensation & Benefits

Truck driver earns $26.00/hour
Overtime paid after 40 hours
Average weekly pay for a truck driver ranges from $1,400–$1,600 with overtime

Truck Driver Responsibilities

Pick up a pre-loaded truck each day
Truck driver will complete 5–13 delivery stops per route (varies daily)
Deliver food products to restaurants and retail outlets
Unload freight using hand trucks, pallet jacks, liftgates, and manual handling when required
Make deliveries to a variety of locations, including basements and upstairs areas
As a truck driver , provide excellent service at each delivery stop

Truck Driver Requirements

Valid Class B CDL
Ability to handle physical, touch-freight deliveries
Clean driving record
Reliable, safety-focused truck driver mindset
