Corporate Finance Analyst At NewCold, we shape the future of the food supply chain by connecting major food manufacturers with retailers and service providers. Position Overview Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States. This Analyst will support the corporate finance team in managing financing and mergers & acquisitions activities to support the company’s worldwide growth. Key Responsibilities Manage and execute project workstreams across real estate, acquisition, and financing projects. Review and prepare financial models, financing memorandums and other information. Manage external communication with banks, advisors, lawyers, and other stakeholders during processes. Support and actively manage M&A processes from initiation through post-merger integration. Perform detailed financial and strategic analysis to support decision-making across financing and M&A activities, independently managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Proactively take ownership of key deliverables and drive workstreams forward with high autonomy, ensuring timely and accurate execution across financing and M&A activities. Manage internal coordination and communication with all relevant NewCold departments to execute due diligence, structuring, insurance, valuation, and KYC processes. Monitor existing financing solutions in coordination with central and local finance, treasury, and tax teams. Salary $101,000 – $105,000 plus bonus Requirements At least 2-3 years of experience in financing, M&A, modeling, etc. Experience in banking, corporate finance, and debt financing (e.g., loans, credit facilities, leveraged finance). Deep understanding of corporate finance aspects of mergers and acquisitions. Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations. Proven ability to take ownership of projects or workstreams, delivering high-quality results with a high degree of autonomy. Experience working in an international environment and in diversified teams. Ability to manage rapidly changing conditions and devise creative solutions for arising problems during transactions. Strong drafting, reporting, memoranda preparation, and project management skills. Strong business acumen and communication skills. Education and Certification Bachelor’s degree in Finance, or related field. Master’s degree in Finance or MBA preferred but not required.
