PositionSummary WeareseekingaStaffAccountantwithhands-onSageIntacctexperiencetohelpownthegeneralledger,reconciliations,creditcardandexpensemanagement,andthedataflowbetweenMiter(payroll),SageIntacct(ERP),andSageConstructionManagement.Thisisaprofessional-trackrolecentraltokeepingourbooksaccurateandourmonth-endclosereliable—withaclearpathtogrowtowardSeniorAccountantasthecompanyscales. KeyResponsibilities Prepareandpostjournalentries;maintaingeneralledgeraccuracyandsupportatimely,reliablemonth-endclose. Ownreconciliationsacrossbankaccounts,companycreditcards,andkeybalancesheetaccounts. Ownday-to-daycreditcardandemployeeexpensemanagement—enforcingjob/cost-codecoding,receipts,approvals,andspendpolicy,reconcilingthecreditcardliability,andbookingaccrualsatclose(workinginMiterandSageIntacct). OwntheflowandreconciliationofcreditcarddatafromMiterintoSageIntacct;investigateandresolvesyncdiscrepancies. Managesales-and-usetaxbyproject—maintainexemption,resale,andcapital-improvementcertificates;determinetaxabilityofpurchasesandbillings;accrueandreconcileusetax;andsupportmulti-state(NY/TX)sales/usetaxfilings. Recordandreconcilejob-costtransactions;supportprojectaccountingandwork-in-progress(WIP)schedules. AssistwithaccountsreceivableandAIA/progressbillingasneeded. Prepareaccountanalysesandsupportingschedules;assistwithaudit,review,andtaxrequests. Helpreengineeranddocumentaccountingprocessestoimproveaccuracy,controls,andscalability. Qualifications Bachelor'sdegreeinAccountingorFinancerequired. Hands-onSageIntacctexperiencepreferred—youshouldbecomfortableworkingintheGL,reconciliations,andreportingwithinIntacctondayone. 2–4 yearsofgeneralaccountingexperience;constructionorproject-basedindustryexperiencestronglypreferred. Solidunderstandingofgeneral-ledgeraccounting,reconciliations,andthemonth-endclose. ExperiencewithMiter,SageConstructionManagement,orotherconstruction/payrollsystemsaplus;genuineinterestinsystemintegrationsandprocessimprovement. StrongExcelskillsandasystems-minded,detail-orientedapproach. Workingknowledgeofconstructionsales-and-usetaxandexemption-certificatemanagementastrongplus.
