In this role, you'll work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to provide therapy services that help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall function. Join us and make a difference every day.Responsibilities:Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical TherapistAssist with implementing individualized treatment plans designed to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independenceMonitor resident progress and communicate treatment updates to the supervising Physical TherapistComplete required documentation, treatment records, and care plan updates accurately and timelyEducate residents, families, and staff on therapy techniques, exercises, mobility, and adaptive equipmentAssist with discharge planning, home exercise programs, and equipment recommendationsCollaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to support resident outcomesParticipate in staff training, in-services, and quality improvement initiativesMaintain therapy equipment, supplies, and treatment areasPerform additional duties as assignedRequirements:Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program approved by the American Physical Therapy AssociationValid New York State Physical Therapist Assistant License requiredNewly licensed Physical Therapist Assistants encouraged to applySkilled nursing facility experience preferredStrong communication, documentation, and organizational skillsAbility to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare teamCommitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered careBenefits:Paid Time Off (PTO) for Full-Time and Part-TimeWeekly or Same-Day Pay OptionsHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife InsuranceEmployee Referral Bonus ProgramRetirement Saving OptionsEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
