Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring active NC or compact RN licensure and AWHONN fetal monitoring certification.

Details

• Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit
• Shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM

Requirements

• Active RN license (NC or Compact) currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience required
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Intermediate or Advanced AWHONN or NCCEFM fetal monitoring certification required
• Current NRP certification (Advanced 9th Edition) from American Academy of Pediatrics required
• No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment start
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration (Canadian SSN not accepted)
• One professional reference required

Additional Information

• Provide skilled nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients within a hospital Labor & Delivery department
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this travel position
• Local candidates will not be considered for this role
