Therapist - Occupational Therapist

$2094.40/week –

Job Summary:
Provides skilled occupational therapy services to patients with cognitive and ADL physical functioning disorders, aiming to improve independence and quality of life through personalized treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients’ cognitive and physical functioning and develop appropriate care plans in accordance with clinical standards.

• Administer therapeutic interventions such as ADL retraining, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and use of supportive devices.

• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatments as needed and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with the healthcare team, providing consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers on treatment goals.

• Complete comprehensive discharge summaries and maintain accurate electronic records of services delivered.

• Supervise occupational therapist assistants, rehab aides, and students, fostering a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active OT license for the state of practice.

• Possess 1+ years of experience in long-term care or rehabilitation settings.

• Demonstrate proficiency with standardized assessments and evidence-based clinical practices.

• Exhibit strong communication and documentation skills.

• Be able to obtain necessary DME or supplies per clinical standards.

• New graduates with Level II experience are considered.
