Job Summary: Los Alamos, New Mexico Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN). The RN in the OR - Surgery specialty provides patient care in the perioperative setting and supports surgical services based on unit needs and call requirements. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift; 8 hours per shift; minimum 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: RN licensure in New Mexico; ACLS (ACLS), BLS (BLS), PALS (PALS), and HWC (as listed in the posting); certification/licensure required to work as an RN in New Mexico.
• Preferred Qualifications: Travel experience is a plus, but not required.
• Additional Information: Orientation is weekly, on Mondays. Weekend hours are every other/as needed. Call requirements are as needed, with 1011 days of call each month (or 1516 days per month if only two staff). Float requirements may be needed, including pre-op.
• Additional Information: All clinical staff in New Mexico must be fingerprinted before hire and provide documentation that the check is being processed. Travelers may start on a 14-day waiver while waiting on results but must be supervised. Each agency needs an account with the New Mexico Department of Health (NM DOH), and compliance teams will enter clinicians into the portal for background check processing.
