Backend DeveloperLocation: Houston, TXLength: 1 year contract (possible extension)Experience:3+ years’ experience using C#Excellent analytical, problem solving, and debugging skillsFamiliar with Microsoft.Net Framework and dotnetcore, and experience with Microsoft Visual Studio.Experience using JSON, Web API, and in-app hosting developmentExperience/familiarity with using Message QueuingExperience with RDBMS including SQL. Experience using ORM tools such as Entity FrameworkSoftware engineering experience in object-oriented design and applying loosely coupled distributed design patterns to realize mid-to-large size applicationsMust understand the need for and be willing to develop unit and integration tests. Experience with unit testing in application development.Experience in agile/scrum teams preferably using Azure DevOpsSolid understanding of the software development processExperience with microservicesExperience with Docker/KubernetesDesired Qualifications:Experience with Web development, preferably Angular 2+Oil and Gas experience including drilling or geological related applications developmentExperience with Scientific applications developmentExperience with using NoSQL databaseBachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering or other related field. Advanced degree is preferred.
