Work Environment

This position allows you to work remotely, providing flexibility while helping clients. We ensure that our team members have access to the technology and support needed for virtual therapy, including training in secure video conferencing platforms and online therapy methodologies. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct remote therapy sessions using secure video conferencing technology, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to ethical standards.
  • Thoroughly assess each client’s mental health needs through comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific goals.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based practices and innovative therapeutic techniques to engage clients effectively.
  • Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, including detailed progress notes and treatment plan adjustments, within our secure client management system.
  • Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals and support staff to provide holistic care and effective treatment strategies.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices through ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele ranges from children to adults, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other significant life challenges. You will effectively employ tailored strategies to address the diverse needs of clients from various backgrounds, ensuring culturally sensitive care. You will also work to empower clients through education and skills training to foster resilience and self-efficacy.

Qualifications

  • A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related mental health field.
  • Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Massachusetts.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in the field of mental health counseling, with a solid foundation in therapy modalities.
  • Proven ability to conduct virtual therapy sessions effectively using video conferencing technology.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building trusting relationships with clients.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently while effectively managing your schedule.
  • Proficient in using technology for client management and communication.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in a community health setting or with diverse populations would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with treatment for specific disorders (such as PTSD, mood disorders, and substance use disorders) is highly preferred.
  • A background in crisis intervention and stabilization techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $85,000 to $95,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to salary, our benefits package includes:
