Regional Director of Nursing

What You'll Do

As a Regional Director of Nursing, you'll serve as a key member of our corporate nursing team, partnering with campus Directors of Nursing and corporate leadership to drive program quality, compliance, and student outcomes across multiple campuses. You'll be a coach, a problem-solver, and a champion for nursing education excellence.

• Lead and support nursing program delivery and operations across your assigned campuses

• Monitor and communicate trends in healthcare, nursing education, and key program outcomes — including NCLEX-PN first-time pass rates, retention, graduation, and employment outcomes

• Stay current on State Board of Nursing regulations, lead compliance initiatives, and represent Lincoln Tech at Board of Nursing meetings in your region

• Guide campuses through accreditation visits, regulatory inspections, and corrective action planning

• Support the recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of nursing leaders, faculty, and staff

• Conduct regular campus visits to assess program quality, provide hands-on support, and drive operational effectiveness

• Step in as temporary campus leadership during transitions, vacancies, or periods of organizational need

• Mentor Directors of Nursing, Assistant Directors of Nursing, and Clinical Managers to promote consistency and quality across your region

• Collect and analyze program data to support regulatory reporting, accreditation requirements, and continuous improvement

• Partner with campus and corporate stakeholders to identify strengths, address gaps, and achieve strong program outcomes

• Oversee instructional materials selection and monitor educational quality

• Contribute to strategic planning efforts focused on nursing program growth and student success

What You Bring

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) — Master's degree preferred

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license

• Multi-state Compact RN license, or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire

• At least 3 years of teaching experience in a nursing education program

• At least 3 years of leadership, management, or supervisory experience in healthcare or nursing education

• Strong coaching, relationship-building, and communication skills

• Ability to analyze data, interpret outcomes, and develop actionable improvement plans

• Comfort working across multiple locations and with diverse stakeholders

Preferred:

• Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) credential

• Master's degree in Nursing

• Multi-campus leadership experience

Work Environment
