Job TitleRespiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT)Job DescriptionFHC Montgomery Memorial Hospital offers cardiopulmonary services to include EKG, stress testing and PFT testing and a respiratory consult model that allows therapists to fully utilize their assessment skills and to optimize the plan of care accordingly.ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities include but are not limited to all types of oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, airway management with intubations, arterial punctures and analysis, invasive and non-invasive ventilation management protocols.Will be responsible for evaluating the respiratory needs of patients and the development and implementation of a Respiratory Care Plan based on Clinical Practice Guidelines.QualificationsGraduate of an approved respiratory care technology program with a current North Carolina Respiratory Care license.Registered Respiratory Therapist credential or CRT credential, RRT preferred.Minimum one year of clinical Respiratory care experience required. Three (3) to five (5) years of current clinical respiratory care experience preferred.Clinical life safety certification requirements must be achieved prior to the end of the probationary/training period include: ACLS, PALS and NRP.NICU and Pediatric experience is preferred.
