Data Collection Specialist II

Data Collection Specialist – Level II Performs information gathering for data analytics, including asset tagging and data collection on building systems such as HVAC, refrigeration, and point of sale. Experience with IoT devices is desirable but not essential. Responsibilities Conduct walk-through surveys to assess the condition of property development. Safely access roofs when part of the work scope. Take photographs of representative systems and conditions. Log information into the client database. Adhere to client site visit protocols. Travel up to 100% of the time based on assignment. Problem‑solve and use critical thinking skills to address basic to moderate‑level project complexity. Supervisory Responsibilities No direct supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications, Education & Experience High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, sciences, IT, or related field is a plus. Ability to travel up to 90% of the time. Strong time‑management and problem‑solving skills with the ability to meet scheduled deadlines. Proficient in using iPad/iPhone and iOS systems. Driver’s license and OSHA 10‑Hour Safety Course certification. Skills & Abilities Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, consultative, and customer‑service skills. Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret property condition issues and communicate with team members and clients. Confidentiality, sensitivity, and the ability to handle complex inquiries or complaints. Analytical and quantitative skills with experience developing strategic solutions. Competency with data‑gathering programs, apps, web platforms, word processing, spreadsheets, communications, and project tracking. Self‑motivated, team‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple ongoing assignments. Compensation Estimated range: USD 45,000 – 80,000 per year.
