The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader with a proven track record in culinary management, dedicated to enhancing the dining experience for our residents through quality, nutrition, and innovative menu offerings.

- Oversee the planning, preparation, and presentation of all meals served in the facility.
- Develop and implement menus that meet the nutritional needs and preferences of our residents, ensuring variety and seasonal offerings.
- Manage and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with the facility's administrative team to align culinary services with residents' wellness goals.
- Monitor inventory levels and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best quality ingredients within budget.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques, integrating these into the dining program to continuously improve resident satisfaction.
- Organize and participate in special event catering within the facility, continuing to build a sense of community and engagement.

- Degree or certification in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
- Extensive experience in a professional culinary environment, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
- Demonstrable knowledge of nutrition, dietary needs, and special dietary accommodations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
- Passion for working with the senior community and enhancing their quality of life through nutrition.
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial planning for food service operations.
